Terms of use

By using Smashup, you agree to these terms. Accounts and AI creation are for people aged 18 or older. Keep your email account secure; sign-in codes provide access to your creations and credits.

Smashup is an early-access game. Features, availability and the public roster may change. AI creations may differ from your description and are not guaranteed to be unique, accurate or eligible for copyright protection. No ownership of someone else's characters, trademarks or likeness is granted.

Do not use the service for unlawful content, harassment, sexual content involving minors, nonconsensual intimate content, fraud, or infringement of other people's rights. Do not interfere with the service, evade creation limits, automate account farming, or attempt to access another player's private content. We may remove content or restrict accounts for these reasons.

Credits are used only to request Smashup generation. They are not money, cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, and have no scheduled expiration. A fighter or map costs the credits shown before submission. Creation slots are limited; reaching a limit does not spend a credit. Failed or cancelled jobs return their reserved credits.

New prices apply to future purchases and do not reduce existing balances. If we discontinue paid creation permanently, contact support about unused purchased credits. Free credits are not refundable for money.

The game is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted service, competitive balance, or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Material policy changes will be identified by an updated effective date.

Privacy notice

We process your email address and sign-in records, display name, prompts, generated art and game definitions, saved creations, credit history, purchase references, reports and support requests. The app uses essential sign-in cookies and browser storage for settings, drafts and recovery. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; they are not stored by Smashup.

We use this information to authenticate you, create and store fighters and maps, run online matches, process credits and payments, prevent abuse and resolve support requests. We do not sell your personal information or use the app to serve targeted advertising.

Our service providers include Cloudflare for hosting, rooms, workflows and private object storage; Supabase for authentication and the application database; Resend for sign-in email; Stripe for payments; and Vercel AI Gateway and its selected model providers for generation and quality checks. Prompts and generated images may be sent to those AI providers to fulfill your request. Their services may process data outside your country. Do not put sensitive personal information or confidential material in a prompt.

Creations start private. Publishing makes their playable art, name, description and creator display name available to other players. Playing online shares the selected fighter or map with your opponent, including temporary artwork access. Downloaded or remixed copies cannot be recalled from other people's devices. Source prompts and intermediate generation checkpoints are not part of the public catalog.

Account and creation data are retained while needed to provide the service. Deleting a creation blocks new access through Smashup; support handles account-removal requests and resolves open jobs and paid orders. Payment, fraud-prevention and legal records may need to be retained after account removal. Routine cloud backups expire after 30 days. Additional recovery exports may be retained when necessary to restore the service; restored data remains subject to removal requests.

Contact me@raymond.gg to request access, correction, export or deletion, or to exercise privacy rights available where you live. We may verify your account before fulfilling a request. The account page also provides a removal-request control. If you believe a minor has supplied personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed.

Creations and sharing

Submit only material you have permission to use. You retain any rights you hold in your inputs and creations. You give Smashup permission to process, store, display and distribute them as needed to provide the features you choose.

Publishing additionally gives other Smashup players a nonexclusive permission to play, save and remix your creation within Smashup. This permission covers only rights you can grant and does not grant a general commercial license or rights in third-party material. Making a creation private removes it from discovery, but existing saved versions and remixes may remain available. Deleting a creation blocks new downloads of that creation through the service; it cannot erase copies already delivered.

Use the community's Report action or email me@raymond.gg to report abuse or a rights concern. Include the creation link, what is wrong, and enough information for us to investigate. We may withhold or remove reported content during review.

Payments and refunds

Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. The checkout shows the price, credit quantity, currency and any applicable tax before payment.

Within 14 days of purchase, you may request a refund for unused purchased credits by emailing me@raymond.gg from your account email with the receipt or order reference. We review the remaining purchased balance and return eligible funds to the original payment method. Refunded credits are removed. Promotional credits have no cash value.

A failed or cancelled generation automatically returns its reserved credits, rather than refunding a card payment. For a completed creation with a technical defect, contact support with its link so we can review a credit adjustment or other appropriate remedy. AI output can vary from a prompt; this does not limit any statutory rights to cancellation, conformity or refunds.

If a refund or dispute covers credits already spent, the account may be paused for support review. Your mandatory local consumer rights take precedence over this policy.
